The Foundation Hospital

The hospital was originally donated to MTN through the help of the Children’s Hope foundation, Paparao had the building through which he could start providing the medical help needed to the people of the area. In particular focus was given on eye care, which was missing from the region. As in any true charity service, whilst the physical building was given, the key area which was preventing optimum services from the hospital was the ongoing operational costs. Foundation identified this as being a crux to its success and is currently financially supporting the hospital to cover this. Further Foundation has donated 2 vehicles which function as ambulances and provide transport for the mobile medical team. The figures speak for themselves, the table below shows the impact.
