Natural disasters, suicides due to poverty, lack of awareness on many social issues, illegal contacts, road accidents, HIV/AIDS, fire accidents, children born to unwed mothers… all these things cause an increase in the rate of orphans. Homeless people produce homeless children. Many homeless people live at the road sides, train stations, bus stations and in the market places… they live… get married and give birth to babies in such places… and leave them mercilessly to their fate causing the increase in the number of homeless children. Who in turn produce the next homeless generation?
The MTN mission is to create centers for orphans to provide shelter, education and love to this needy group. The three case studies below will give you detailed insight into the plight that these children are going through on a daily basis.
MTN had already established 1 small orphanage which housed 18 children, through the efforts or Paparoa, his family and help from sponsors so far they are now housing 200 children.
However there are many more children who need the reach of a helping hand to give them the best possible start in life.
